Dialogue en Route and the Accademia Dimitri have the pleasure of inviting you to an interactive Round Table to explore the relationship between humour and racism. Humour is an ambivalent social construct, which unites but at the same time divides. The Round Table will see young activists and professionals talking about the ambivalences, challenges and potential of humour as a concrete tool for change, criticism and self-narration to counter prejudice and stereotypes.
By immediately involving the audience in the reflection, they will dialogue with us:
Perla Ciommi, co-founder of Lucify, creator of films and cartoons
Sofia Sadiki, social worker in training, Tiktoker
Murphy Tomadin, psychotherapist in training, CHAMPS-Stop afrofobia
Shahaf Michaeli, SUPSI Accademia Dimitri researcher and trainer (moderation).
Promoted as part of the cantonal week against racism “Think. Create. Share.”, the Round Table is organised in collaboration with the Accademia Dimitri and is supported by the Cantonal Integration Programme (PIC).
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 26 March at 16:30 at the Casa del Popolo in Bellinzona! The Round Table will be followed by refreshments.
Duration: from 16:30 to 18:00
Address: Viale Stazione 31 6500 Bellinzona
