Becoming “fluid” is what Nicholas Pettit and Corinne Rochet, choreographers of Pettit*Rochet, wish to offer as research. Using the imagery, sensations and dynamics of the material “water”, Nicholas Pettit and Corinne Rochet explore the themes of breathing, energy and momentum. Through this process, they develop a movement vocabulary based on fluidity and liquidity. Between improvisation and learning, whether alone or with others, the choreographers invite you to explore the principles of movement of a wave, a whirlpool, a ripple, the ebb and flow. An approach that encourages and develops flexibility, adaptability and creativity.
