A step into the unknown, in which something unexpected arises and follows its own, unplanned will. And yet there are rules and techniques, games and exercises that give you the necessary means to orient yourself in this wild world. In this course you will learn to trust your own spontaneous impulses and to consciously let them guide you, to develop and refine them. From movement to sound, from sound to word, from word to action. The motor of this process is our imagination and our ability to react. Without pressure but under creative tension, the creative power of each individual is released when impressions, situations and stories emerge from these impulses. The boundaries between play and creation blur as we individually and collectively explore the potential of the moment and get to know our creative compass.

Alvise Lindenberger
During his Master’s studies at the Accademia Dimitri, Alvise already performed at the city theatre of Biel and Solothurn, where he was on stage from 2018 to 2021.
As an improv artist, he has performed at Miller’s Studio and Theater Rigiblick (Zurich). Parallel to his theatre engagements, Alvise regularly taught improv and physical theatre in Berlin and during the theatre camps “ConneXt”, which he co-organises every summer.
His teaching stems from his time studying at the Accademia and is suitable for professionals and beginners alike, as the way of working is simple and profound at the same time. He is fluent in German, Italian and English.
