Saskia Simonet was born in Fribourg (Switzerland). For one year she attended the faculty of social and political sciences, and while crossing the theatre by chance, she didn’t hesitate to leave her previous studies to attend clowning and physical theatre courses. The passion is in depth, so she decided to subscribe at the Ecole de théâtre of the Compagnie Premier Acte in Lyon, thanks to the meeting with director Sarkis Tcheumlekdjian. She passed the audition and attended the first year courses in acting, improvisation, biomechanics and dance. Her interest in body disciplines was increasingly growing and in 2016 she decided to attend a school focused on the Physical Theatre, then enrolled at the Academy Dimitri Theatre.
In February 2018 she won the Theatre study award of the Migros Culture Percentage movement.
She graduated in September 2019.
