Specific objectives of the course are: the knowledge of one’s own voice and its development aimed at theatricality.
The techniques learnt, through the refinement of the kinesthetic and auditory perception, aim to deepen the breathing, to sustain the projection of the voice in space, to know the linguistic material, to develop the ability to control the sung voice and to consolidate the resonances. Vocality becomes a mirror of the imaginative and representative abilities in the field of theatrical communication.
During the three-year period, formative experiences for the knowledge of one’s own vocal identity are initiated. We work with the rhythm of breathing, gesture and sentence, we know the laws that govern the relationship between breath and voice.
A first encounter with vocal technique is followed by experiences of reading, interpretation of poetic and dramatic texts, choral and individual singing. With the support of teachers, the composition of theatrical and musical fragments is experimented with new and matured riches. The vocal, verbal and non-verbal language becomes a field for possible understanding of the surrounding world and the different hypotheses of the scene. |
