Collective End-of-Training Work of 3rd year Bachelor of Arts in Theatre students
© A production of the Accademia Dimitri
Every year, under the direction of a professional director, the Accademia Dimitri creates a new work at the end of its Bachelor of Arts in Theatre training, which is intended to be taken on tour. Director 2023 sees the prestigious signature of dancer and choreographer Cristiana Morganti.
“The portrait of a group of young artists and perfomers who are on the verge of separating to pursue their individual paths: a flock about to disperse.
Dreams, relationships, clashes, disappointments, hopes, but also a light-hearted reflection on the world of theatre and what it means to take this path today.
An ironic and authentic look at the dynamics of a group, always attentive to the potential of each individual performer.
Explosions of energy are translated into dance moments reminiscent of the contagious joy of Folklore dances. Poetic rituals alternate with short, light, theatrical moments. A montage of pictures and situations in which the spectator may perhaps identify and perhaps take flight.”
