Alexei Ivanov

Acrobatics teacher

Born into a family of Russian acrobats, he grew up immersed in the circus arts. He spent fifteen years touring the world (Europe, North America, South America, Japan, and South Korea) performing acrobatics and slapstick. He won the Tristan Rémy Award at the Festival International du Cirque de Monte Carlo in 1995. In Switzerland, he toured with Circus Knie and Circus Monti. He is also active professionally as a sports coach for the Swiss Ski Team and as a personal acrobatic trainer for snowboarder Iouri "iPod" Podladtchikov (Swiss gold medalist in halfpipe at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics).
