Mathieu Horeau

A philosopher specializing in classical German philosophy, he earned a PhD from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, where he taught aesthetics and the history of philosophy. He then moved to Berlin to conduct several postdoctoral projects and scholarly translations, and created a series of philosophy lectures hosted by the Institut Française. At the same time, he devoted himself to writing documentaries, notably as co-author of the film "Préliminaires," broadcast on Arte in 2021. Passionate about theater, he joined the Dimitri Academy with the ambition of capitalizing on his academic expertise and his long-standing interest in socially engaged art.
