Anna Gromanová
Professor in Physical Theatre, Artistic Director and Responsible Ba and Ma Studies
Anna Gromanová earned a Master’s degree in acting at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia) and, in 2010, a PhD in Theory and Practice of Theatre Art at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (CZ). In Prague, she worked for 10 years as a performer at the international physical theatre studio "Farm in the Cave", collaborating in the development of performances characterized by research aimed at the transmission of human experience mainly through singing, music, and physical expression. At the Academy of Arts of Banská Bystrica, she worked as Head of the Acting Department and, later, as Head of Education of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, as well as having worked as a teacher of stage movement and acting for 17 years. At the same institution, she is a member of the evaluation committee for scholarships, and a member of the working group of the Slovak Higher Education Accreditation Agency.
