Anna Gromanová

Professor in Physical Theatre, Artistic Director and Responsible Ba and Ma Studies

Anna Gromanová earned a Master’s degree in acting at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia) and, in 2010, a PhD in Theory and Practice of Theatre Art at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (CZ). In Prague he worked for ten years as a performer at the international physical theatre studio "Farm in the Cave"collaborating in the realization of shows characterized by a research aimed at the transmission of human experience mainly through singing, music and physical expression. At the Academy of Arts of Banská Bystrica worked as Head of the Acting Department and, later, as Head of Education of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, as well as having played for 17 years the role of teacher in stage movement and teaching of acting. At the same institution he is a member of the evaluation committee for scholarships and a member of the working group of the Slovak Higher Education Accreditation Agency.
