Master of Arts in Theater

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in theatre, dance, circus arts or an equivalent diploma is required to access the Master’s admission procedure. The “sur dossier” enrolment is possible for candidates with proven artistic experience at a professional level. Admission to the Masters is subject to evaluation.

The admission procedure consists of 3 steps:

1. Application form

Applicants should send the application, filled out in full, enclosing the required documentation.
Evaluations of applications are announced by the end of May. Admitted candidates are then invited to the entrance examinations in Verscio.

2. Admission examination

Admitted candidates are invited to take part in the admission examination, which takes place at the Academy’s premises and consists of a practical examination and a personal interview.
The practical examination (approx. 120 min.) requires skills in theatre improvisation, movement and composition. Individual interviews with the Examination Board (approx. 45 min.) relate to the content of the application.

3. Registration

Candidates who have successfully passed the admission examination will be contacted and invited to complete their enrolment in the course of study usually by midst of July with the signing of the Study Contract.
