29.04.26 - Cultural Evening: A TALK WITH GIACOMO AGOSTI

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to a talk with Giacomo Agosti, an opera director and set designer, as well as a theatre and television actor, and a lecturer at the Brera Academy on courses in performance practice, art criticism and set design theory. He lives in Montagnola, in Italian-speaking Switzerland, where he works with the Hermann Hesse Museum, and has explored the theme of identity through his studies and performance practice; he has recently published for Ricordi–LIM L’isola delle sirene. Gay Culture and American Musical from Busby Berkeley to Betty Grable.

The evening will be devoted to reflecting on the concept of the ‘boundary’, which is central to her teaching and artistic practice: a subtle threshold that concerns self-awareness and our relationship with others, lying between modesty and openness, silence and speech, hesitation and action. Through encounters with students, the boundary emerges as a space for exploration and transformation, where we question what remains within us and what we choose to share. An opportunity to explore, together, the limits and possibilities of the creative act and of education.
