From 8 to 15 March 2026, a group of Bachelor's and Master's students from the Accademia Teatro Dimitri will take part in a workshop dedicated to puppet and object theatre at the prestigious Theatre Drak in the Czech Republic.
During this week of intensive work, participants will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of puppetry techniques through a practical and creative course led by highly experienced teachers. The workshop will focus on exploring objects, materials, the body and space as expressive tools, allowing the group to develop new ways of creating theatre.
A central element of the experience will be international exchange: students will work closely with artists from Germany and the Czech Republic. This exchange will offer an important opportunity for artistic and cultural dialogue, enriching the creative process and encouraging the sharing of different approaches to contemporary theatre.
Through practical exercises and collective research, participants will learn how to create puppets and develop a scenic relationship with props, transforming them into real performance partners.
This experience represents an important opportunity for artistic growth and international exchange for Accademia Teatro Dimitri, allowing students to engage with a highly significant reality in the European puppetry scene.
