On November 25th, the Accademia Dimitri joins the City of Lugano for a special event on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. In collaboration with the LAC, we will be part of a collective Body Sound performance to raise awareness about gender-based violence, a harsh reality that unfortunately affects many people.
This collective performance, organized as part of the national campaign "16 Days Against Gender-Based Violence" serves as an invitation to reflect and act together. Through the rhythmic use of hands, feet, and the body, participants will recreate the sound of rain, symbolizing renewal, hope, and solidarity. It is an opportunity for the community to come together and support a powerful message: only united can we "wash away" violence from our society.
With our artistic contribution, together with the City of Lugano, we aim to emphasize the importance of solidarity for a more inclusive and just society. The invitation is open to anyone who wishes to participate in this symbolic moment.
