‘Building Your Future’: registration is now open for the free workshop

A practical guide for performing artists who wish to learn more about their rights, develop their professional skills and protect their work.
Building Your Future offers a forum for discussion and learning dedicated to the bureaucratic, legal and administrative aspects of the artistic profession.
The workshop addresses key topics such as social security, legal matters, administrative management and the organisation of one’s professional activities: issues that often give rise to doubts and concerns, or for which it is not easy to find information or relevant contacts.
How will it work? Professional artists living in Italian-speaking Switzerland will take part, over three days, in a theatre workshop designed as a safe space for listening, discussion and experimentation. Initially, participants will be invited to share their experiences, challenges and questions relating to their professional careers; subsequently, through a process of co-creation, these experiences will be transformed into theatrical scenes that highlight specific situations and recurring issues within the sector.
By sharing experiences and exchanging views, professionals will be able to develop useful tools to safeguard their work, strengthen their social awareness and navigate the various transitions in their professional lives with greater confidence.
The workshop is free of charge and is aimed at performing artists who live or work in Italian-speaking Switzerland.
Group 1: 19–21 January 2027, Teatro Dimitri, Verscio
Group 2: 9–11 February 2027, Accademia Teatro Dimitri, Verscio
