Moving Rhythms with Eva Krause

In this course we will be making music with our bodies. Using simple means, we will invent and learn patterns. We will discover different sounds and also experiment how movement can sound. We also want to explore the potentiality of rhythm on stage: how can we communicate with each other or create a mood through rhythm?

Participants are expected to be willing to move and make rhythm, as well as to venture into complex coordination exercises. We will all fail with joy and have fun! We will find ways to relax in this challenge, while getting involved all together.

Eva Krause studied at TIP (School of Dance, Improvisation and Performance, Freiburg) and graduated in Physical Theatre at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri in 2022. Since then she has been living and working as a freelance actress and dancer in Freiburg im Breisgau (DE). In September 2024 she debuted her solo piece interr_options. The piece is part of her project called Moving Rhythms, in which she works at the interface of body percussion and dance.
