A rotten heart.
A shattered bone.
A drop of blood and spit and shit.
A last breath.
A memory of what it means to be human slowly fades.
But the body remembers; remembers earth and wind and river, trees and sky, branches, moss, rot, funghi, fire and mountain.
Falling apart. Coming home. Leaving. Changing. Becoming. Being: This is a story about what happens after we die.
Because I am still here.
I am still here.
And for all that I know I`m not going anywhere.
On a deserted river bank by a bonfire a lonely performer attempts a new, hopeful mythology of death and nature beyond humanity. Shadow, sound, sky and ground, sticks and stones become the protagonists in a reinvention of theatre as we know it, torn between radical contemporaneity and how it all might have started a long time ago under the cold nightsky of a trillion stars…
