A little bit of everything
by Nico Dorigatti

A rotten heart.
A shattered bone.
A drop of blood, saliva and shit.
One last breath.
The memory of what it means to be human slowly fades.
But the body remembers; it remembers the earth and the wind and the river, the trees and the sky, the branches, the moss, the rot, the mushrooms, the fire and the mountain.
Falling apart. Coming home. Leaving. Changing. Becoming. Being: this is a story about what happens after death.
Because I'm still here.
I'm still here.
And as far as I know, I'm not going anywhere.
On a deserted riverbank, around a bonfire, a solitary artist attempts to create a new and hopeful mythology of death and nature, beyond humanity. Shadows, sounds, sky and earth, branches and stones become the protagonists of a reinvention of theater as we know it, poised between a radical contemporaneity and how it all might have begun, long ago, beneath the cold night sky studded with a trillion stars...
