Aporia
by Jana Štofaniková

It’s as if (if you want to touch the truth) you throw a paper airplane into the air and wait until it lands. You know there is a destination, but you don’t know ‘where’.
You don’t know ‘when’.
And you don’t know ‘how’.
Why should ‘why’ even matter? Meanwhile, the “until” keeps waiting and waiting and waiting.
And still, it waits.
A solo movement-based contemplative performance, APORIA explores the rediscovery of the present moment through body, attention, and perception.
It moves through states of uncertainty, referencing Greek aporias as a condition rather than
a concept — a lived experience
of not-knowing.
It does not seek solutions but remains in uncertainty — in “not-knowing,” where stillness, perception, and being emerge, where the act itself matters more than any destination, where nothing needs to be achieved.
A world like dripping ice, slowly melting into presence.
