In this era of posthumanism when the relations between human and non-human entities are in constant expansion: How can we reinterpretate our relation with objects? What other hidden worlds to our senses could exist in the same space/time? What would happen if the laws governing our reality were modified and other points of views were suddenly exposed to us?
“Oxymoron project: The unbearable gravity of being” is a proposal that combines contemporary circus, physical theatre, nouvelle magie and visual arts to create a scenical piece. The purpose of the project is to direct our gaze towards possible scenarios that could exist in some other space/time dimensions…where the laws of logic and physics are different…like a space where classical notions of cause and effect are stretched and multiple possibilities are proposed around a situation. For example where the absurd and the dreamlike world intersect in the same way to give rise to unexpected situations and intriguing atmospheres. There are “objects” (forces, dimensions, events...) around us that we cannot deny and they are incomprehensible to our senses, yet they still influence the world.
