This performance is about laying eggs. This performance is about not laying eggs. This is a story about your eggs that you lay every month. About her eggs that you eat every day. About my eggs. This is not a story.
Affected by the ecological crisis three female performers question the choice of human reproduction. We grieve – for the loss of nonhuman lives and for the eggs we don’t get to lay. Having no common mourning ritual we turn to each our birds for inspiration.
Through means of objects, movement, odd gestures, sporadic text and music we connect and disconnect. We seduce and we bake a cake.
