And its Ritualistic Performative Act of Mourning

Immersive experience into the Physical Theater Performance of “Uvarium” the Cosmic Womb

a Psychomagical sanctuary where we come together to mourn and celebrate mutation.

With Spanish culture, dance movement, life music, body-paint, queer-culture and video formats I wish to embark on a journey into my family system through body memory.

Together with five Spanish artists - coming from a similar sociocultural background - we will craft a Mourning Ritual. Each artist will evoke their personal desire to mourn in their different artistic fields.

We will offer a multisensory immersive experience by entering in the space of Uvarium, which symbolizes the womb of Mother Earth, the collective womb of humanity. Our wish is to invite the audience to encounter together grief and release what no longer serves us. We mourn losses and patterns in order to unfold space for new beginnings.

A woman's womb epitomizes the most awe-inspiring and potent space within a body:encapsulating both death and life, creation and destruction – akin to the universe.
