Elina is a movement artist with floor acrobatics and dance as well as a musician with a background in classical music and improvisation. She started her artistic path in younger age with gymnastics and playing the clarinet. She graduated as a classical clarinettist while always maintaining an intense movement training in various forms. One of her strong visions was to combine playing acoustic instruments with movement in experimental ways. Out of this interest she ended up into a creative and versatile Bachelor of Arts in music and movement in Lucerne, Switzerland.
In her career she has performed as an artist, f. e. in the Lucerne Theatre, in Forum Neue Musik Lucerne, in Turku Philharmonic orchestra and in many multi-artistic projects, creating also her own performances as a dancing clarinettist. In her movement training she focuses on contemporary dance, soft acrobatics and partner acrobatics. This led her to a professional circus formation CREAT in Valencia, in Spain. Combining the qualities of acrobatics and dance has become her main movement area and she gives workshops in this in different contemporary circus spaces.
