Elina is a movement artist with acrodance, musician and teacher for breathwork, movement, clarinet playing and yoga. She started her path with art in younger age with gymnastics and playing the clarinet. Later, she spent some time in the classical music world and graduated as a classical clarinetist and clarinet teacher, while always maintaining an intense movement training in various forms. Her vision was always to combine these two elements in experimental and new ways. So it is not surprising that her next step was a creative and versatile degree in music and movement in Lucerne, Switzerland. In her first years in the new country, she complemented her wisdom by becoming a yoga and acro yoga teacher as well as a breathwork instructor.
During and after the studies, she has performed as an artist, f. e. in the Lucerne Theatre and in many multi-artistic projects, creating also her own performances as a dancing clarinetist. She has been teaching music and movement to children in primary schools in Lucerne and offered workshops on breathwork and acro-yoga in Finland and Switzerland. In her movement training she focused on contemporary dance, soft acrobatics and partner acrobatics. This lead her to a professional circus formation CREAT in Spain in Valencia where she had acrodance as a main discipline – out of combaining the qualities of acrobatics and dance has became her main movement area. She returned to Switzerland and is completing now her education with the master degree of physical theatre in the Accademia Dimitri.
