Élise Taiana

MA - Year Barro

Elise Taiana (1992) is originally from Valais, where she currently lives.

Over the years, she has developed a strong connection to the stage, exploring theatre and music. Her goal is to create a non-elitist form of art. After completing a degree in social work, she trained at the Lassaad School in Brussels. The Master’s program at Accademia Teatro Dimitri opened new perspectives for her.

Her work is inspired by a systematic and poetic observation of whimsical life. Moreover, theatre is for her a way to discover a shared space of movement with others. She aims to transmit this experience to the audience. The themes she is currently exploring include individual and collective memories connected to the land. Words are a playground. She has taken part in festivals with the musical project Oudrik. She created À l’ombre du doute, Cachemire, and Pompomgirl. She is a member of Collectif La Décole in Brussels.

Cie MANU MANU is a base for developing projects and sharing this passion.
