Liva Nora Apsenice

Liva Nora Apseniece is a movement artist from Riga, Latvia. She earned a BA in Contemporary Dance Art from the Latvian Academy of Culture in 2021 and co-founded the contemporary dance collective SIXTH, recipient of a Latvian Dance Award in 2023, where she continues to work as a choreographer and performer.
Liva Nora has taught contemporary dance in studios and at the National Arts Secondary School “Ballet School of Riga.” She has collaborated with the Latvian National Theatre, Dirty Deal Teatro, Gertrudes Street Theatre, the artistic duo IevaKrish, and participated in projects across Europe with COLINE (France), LERIIX Illusions (Switzerland), and PAN.OPTIKUM (Germany).
She has attended workshops in Riga, Viljandi, Berlin, and New York. Currently pursuing an MA in Physical Theatre at Accademia Teatro Dimitri (Switzerland), her artistic focus explores how body, space, rhythm, and movement composition can enrich theatrical storytelling.
