Liva Nora Apsenice

Liva Nora Apseniece is a movement artist originally from Riga, Latvia. She graduated with a degree in Contemporary Dance Arts from the Latvian Academy of Culture in 2021 and is the co-founder of the contemporary dance collective SIXTH , winner of a 2023 Latvian Dance Prize , with which she continues to work as a choreographer and performer.
Liva Nora has taught contemporary dance in several studios and at the National Secondary School of Arts “Ballet School of Riga” . She has collaborated with the Latvian National Theatre , Dirty Deal Theatre , Gertrudes Street Theatre , the artistic duo IevaKrish , and has participated in projects across Europe with COLINE (France) , LERIIX Illusions (Switzerland) and PAN.OPTIKUM (Germany) .
She has participated in workshops in Riga, Viljandi, Berlin, and New York . She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Physical Theatre at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri (Switzerland) . Her artistic research explores how body, space, rhythm, and movement composition can enrich theatrical narrative.
