Nico Dorigatti

Nico Dorigatti is a theatre artist born and raised in Lower Austria .

After training as an actor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna ( Max Reinhardt Seminar ), he began his Master's degree in Theatre at the Accademia Dimitri in Verscio.

Nico works as an actor , dancer , author and director .

He has participated in several projects in state theatres in Austria, Germany and Italy, including the Burgtheater , the Theater in der Josefstadt , the Theater Freiburg and the Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen , as well as collaborating with various artists , companies and festivals in Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, China, Turkey and Switzerland.

Nico's work revolves around the themes of violence , nature and interhuman relationships , exploring the place of the human being in the world, its effects and its connection with the surrounding environment.

Nico is currently working on his Master project , the site-specific ritual performance A Little Bit of Everything , as well as preparing to direct the theatre show Grit and the Dragon in Austria and writing a novel .
