Rebekka Pichler

After studying contemporary dance pedagogy in Vienna, Rebekka worked with the ATOM Theatre dance company in Sofia. As a member of the company, she participated in several projects, developed and presented her piece "The Big Creation," danced in Stefaniya Georgieva's choreography "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea," and taught open classes.

Invited by the ATOM Theatre, she worked as a choreographer for the “ATOM Choreographic Series” , a platform dedicated to choreographic exchange.

In Vienna, Rebekka took part in various projects, ranging from historical dance research to children's theatre, with performances at brut nordwest , Dschungel Wien , Theater Arche , Theater am Spittelberg , Kultursommer Wien and Impulstanz .

Recently, Rebekka collaborated with the Jukstapoz Dance Company and Andrey Kaydanovskiy on creations presented in Switzerland.

Passionate about the dialogue between music and movement, her current interest focuses on the acoustic dramaturgy of physical performance . This research is fueled by her musical practice and regular performances of improvisations with dance and live music .
