The VVIIII. History tells how Eulenspiegel was hired as a babysitter and made a baby puree

Willi Hohnwald

What happens when a trickster from the Middle Ages steps back into the spotlight today? Let’s find out.

In this piece, the legendary Till Eulenspiegel is resurrected in his original form: direct, shameless, raw, and brutally honest. This is not the sanitized jester of children’s books, but a force of nature brought back to life.

Under his gaze, no spoken word remains safe; language itself loses its grip on reality.

As Till wanders through the modern world, he finds work and tries to fit in, but his nature won’t allow it. He cannot help himself he must play his “pranks,” which are less about laughter and more about the unmasking of society.
