The Dream of the Dream
Directed by Philipp Boë
A surreal universe inspired by a painting by René Magritte. Join us on a journey where the incomprehensible unfolds an irresistible magic. Where clownish figures and unconventional objects perform absurd dances. Where words disappear and new vistas appear at the window...
This extraordinary variety show, full of gripping choreography, eccentric humor and magical illusions, will transport you to a dreamlike and poetic world of images.
And it will leave you speechless for an evening.

After training at leading European circus and movement theater schools, Philipp Boë specialized first as a performer and then as a director in interdisciplinary stage productions.
In his pursuit of innovative creation, he combines various forms of expression (art, dance, puppetry, physical theater, etc.) to create performances characterized by a strongly visual language and physical play.
His solo show "Mémoire de la nuit," a pioneer of the "nouvelle magie" genre, toured internationally and won several awards. As a director, he has staged approximately 25 theater and outdoor productions since 1998, including the Tinguely-inspired art piece Cyclope, the summer forest fairy tale PuuPääT, and Universus, the 2017 Badenfahrt festival performance.
In 2018, he founded the company Raum 305 with Moritz Haase and Jarnoth, which sets new standards in the combination of art and puppetry.
