Mathieu Horeau

A philosopher specializing in classical German philosophy, he earned a PhD from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, where he taught aesthetics and the history of philosophy. He then moved to Berlin to conduct several postdoctoral projects and scholarly translations, and created a series of philosophy lectures hosted by the Institut Française. At the same time, he devoted himself to writing documentaries, notably as co-author of the film "Préliminaires," which aired on Arte in 2021. Passionate about theater, he joined the Dimitri Academy with the ambition of capitalizing on his academic expertise and his long-standing interest in socially engaged art.
