Research projects
The Accademia Dimitri’s research projects are dedicated to the theoretical and practical exploration of Physical Theatre and question its definition, its history, and its contribution to the development of activities and methodologies in the artistic, pedagogical, social, and corporate spheres.
In its history, the Accademia’s research sector has developed projects related to theatre studies, intercultural communication, the struggle for human rights, the well-being of the elderly, the inclusion of people with disabilities, theatre for social skills, sustainability, theatre pedagogy, professionalism in the performing arts, soundscapes, site-specific creations, and the possible intertwining of theatre and entrepreneurship.
In a long-term vision, its projects have a strong focus on building networks of collaboration and advancement and generating community projects and established programs for the local area.
