The show “Master: Why Do People Use Violins?” Wins an Award at the Fuga Festival

We are delighted to announce that Līva Nora Apšeniece, Nico Dorigatti, Narayana Ananda Sieber, and Jana Štofaniková participated in the Fuga Festival in Koper, Slovenia, where they presented their project Master *Why Do People Use Violins?*.

The performance received the prestigious “Jury Award for Outstanding Artistic Achievement,” winning over the jury and earning warm praise from the audience as well.

With this recognition, the number of awards won by Master’s students at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri has risen to three. Previously, first prize had been awarded to the performances *Not Found* and *Shooting Snow White*.

The jury explained its decision in the following statement:

"The Award for Best Artistic Achievement is presented to a production that makes highly effective use of body language to create a dreamlike atmosphere. Movement—precise yet spontaneous—becomes the primary means of expression, transcending words and expanding the possibilities of storytelling.

The fragmented structure of the performance gradually comes together, revealing an intense and deeply moving story of a tragedy set in a high school."
